Default Newbie, suspension advice

Hey guys! Kinda new to the s2000 community purchase my first Ap1 in February. My shocks are going out and I was wondering what would be the best set up for daily and the occasionally canyons runs. Ive been reading threads for weeks but thing stood out to me. It would be great to hear some of you guys opinions!

Look in the "suspension and brakes" sub forum.

It will depend upon your budget and how comfortable you are with the car and driving a RWD car in general. Sometimes it's not a bad idea if you are handy and have the tools and space to consider replacing your tired suspension with slightly used OEM to not sacrifice the comfort and very capable handling abilities the car already has from the factory.

^^That's my plan at the moment with fresh <40k> OE dampers with new Eibach springs R 30mm-F 25mm lower same as OE spring rate allowing for lowering.
My 100k rears are leaking

The Showa OE dampers units are very good and with correct Geo setting

OEM dampers and swift red springs or h&r.

As others are pointing out, I would just replace them with OE units for now and explore the great handling of the car in its stock form first, especially since it's your first S2000. You can then upgrade to something more aggressive once you know the car better.
