New Owner -- Long time lurker
Hi guys and gals,
I have been lurking here for a couple of months while I was researching the S2000. I learned a lot from the forum.
Just purchased a black 05 last Sat. And I am loving it. Still keeping it under 5500RPM until 600 miles. She will be my daily driver. I am impressed with the car even though I have not pushed it much. The gearing is quite different than my Miata and 996. But one thing for sure is that she can hang with the best of them around the twisties.
I missed the Exhaust'd 3 event. I hope to meet you guys at the next So. Cal. events.

Thanks for the Welcome, all.
So far, I am loving the car. Originally, I wanted Silver with Red/Black interior. But seeing silver and black side by side, I had to go with black.
I am an old fart from Escondido. About weekend ride, it's a Porsche 996. I had Boxster before too. And I can tell that the S2000 is comparable if not better than the Boxster for much less money.
DragonHeart! Thanks for the Starbucks invitation. I am a bit away. We'll have plenty of chances in the future for coffee, etc.
Like I mentioned, I learn a lot from you S2000 nuts here. I look forward to meeting you all.
