You can go to jail for hitting a dog. Esp. in the head.

Very easy to train a dog not to potty in the home.

When they wake up, put them out

When they finsih eating, put them out

When you finsih playing with them, put them out

You should go out there with them for a about a week. They will figure it out. My Golden had 12 pups and and when they left me at about 7-8 wks (i miss them), they were all potty trained.

how do you potty train a puppy? I use to have a big boxer and I would just use a choke chain and she would learn, but I assume you cant use a choke chain on such a small puppy? do you hit them on the head? only positive reinforcement or what?
Anyone who even thinks about hitting a dog on the head shouldn't have one.

I'm not talking about smacking the dog in the head... I'm taking about a light tap on the head to let him/her know that what he/she is doing is wrong. I don't see the harm in this, especially when choke chains are legal.

Well, you should have said "light tap" instead of "hit."
