I'm basically just looking for trendy hangouts and parties where you can meet good looking people and make new friends, you know the idealistic LA party scene... sorry some of you might think I'm being comic. But since LA is divided into so many different social scenes, I'm not looking for the Crenshaw type of crowd. I''m gearing more towards the "Hollywood" atmosphere. I heard Melrose and a few, any more suggestions? Thanks!

Anyhoo...if you're looking for more of a "scene", you'll need to find out which night is hot at each club. And go out during the week. The weekends are for the "bridge and tunnel crowd". Or so I hear. Paris never takes me any place good anymore now that she's engaged.

Be prepared to either take a few Playboy bunnies with you, get there early or just be content to wait in line for hours with no guarantee of getting in. I recommend the first.
