So yesterday at church the pastor was talking about how God can shape lives and bring people into a closer relationship with Him through difficult situations, even if at the time we don't understand it.
What does he use as an illustration? The Karate Kid! He showed the part where Daniel-san is mad because he's been waxing on and waxing off all day and tells Pat Morita off, to which Mr. Miyagi shows Daniel his new skills. It was hilarious - and appropriate.
I don't remember Mr. Miyagi having such a strong accent...
