The resell value on "fun" cars has tanked so much ....
Good Luck on that.
Good Luck on that.
because I was in the market for one earlier ...
for silver/black color .. the price is tanked quite a bit ...
but for white, red and yellow ... the demand is there in so. cal.
when there is one avaliable for sell, I see so many ppl jumping on it .. and the car will disappear very fast given in good condition....
some stupid dealer even jacked up the price once they see so many ppl came and look for that used car (ex .. south coast subaru/acura, I am not lying, they did to a white S and they blamed it on an upgraded brake rotor, they raised the price up by 4.5k!!, must be a rotor made by gold!)
... if I am him, I would do that same especially his S only has 16k miles.

I also want to keep my car at the end of my lease. Is it better to wait till the lease is up or should I just try to buy it now. The onl reason I ask is the possibility of lowering my payments now as opposed to later

I just spoke with someone from Honda Financial. They don't negotiate because they're closed end leases, and the car doesn't belong to the dealer. Once you turn it in, it may not even end up at that particular dealer. Honda MC will take it to a "dealer only" auction and the highest bidder gets to sell it at their lot.
