so i got my honda lease end papers, called them up, said no negotiation on it...

er... buyout is $19.7k but the damn taxes....!!!! $1800..... damn it

that;s about the current market value,

i just bought my S 2 months ago ...
19k + tax ... 21.6 k ... total out the door.
it is a NFR 2007 with 37k miles.

Assuming you got your lease fro AHFC (American Honda Finance Corp) then they will not negotiate at all on the lease buy-out.

It's common practice with the premium brands like BMW and Mercedes to beg people buy their car as their cars get hit with harder depreciation.

Might as well schedule the pre-inspection and find out what they are planning to ding you on the repairs.

no point in the inspection as i am looking to buy out the car no matter what.
even if i didnt want it, id still buy it and then resell...

The resell value on "fun" cars has tanked so much ....

yea it has tanked quite a bit but i dont plan on selling it. ill own it for life.... i was just saying...
