Default need recommendation: wireless keyboard and mouse

Hello all I have a new setup in my bedroom and will hook up my desktop to my LCD TV. I wanted to get some recommendations for wireless keyboard and mouse. I currently have a logitech optical wired and love it. I hate to deal with battery life and choppy mouse use especially during Counter Strike =P Thanks people!

yea its a big bedroom. has like a little living room type area before you actually get to the bedroom portion. so i have a little couch, coffee table, fridge, and TV setup there. moving the computer to hook up to the TV. I've been reading about logitech G5/7 keyboard and mouse but the price on em is really high. wondering what the different is between a $20 optical wireless mouse and a $80 one. Anybody chime in.

I hear a lot of people recommend the G15 KB and G5 mouse combo

I personally prefer wired keyboard with the thumb trackball mouse, but that's just me.

i perfer wired but the setup in my bedroom wont allow it. the tv and computer will be a distance from the couch and table. ive been hearing rave things about the above mentioned logitechs but whats the difference again other than price?

G7 mouse is a laser mouse that sends each movement request to it's receiver MANY MANY more times then other mouses do.. Also it comes with 2 battery pack.. so as you are using 1 the other is sitting in the docking connector charging up.. batterys are hotswapable so if your battery runs low it takes literally 2seconds to swap it. Other mouses use either a recharging cradle which means your F'ed if you run out of battery and have to wait 30+minutes for the mouse to charge. and other mouses you will have to replace the battery every week not to mention they are heavy with the battery.

I honestly cant tell the difference between a wired mouse and my G7.. it's VERY responsive.. and VERY accurate...

looks like the g7 is getting majority of the votes. From what i can tell online the shape of the g7 doesnt look too comfortable. I could be wrong. Im used to this right now:
