Default Need mechanic for valve job
Hey Guys,
the dealer tells me I may need a valve job.
They are adjusting the valves right now to see if that works.
Two cylinders are losing compression.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop to do this work?
I think the dealer would rape me.

.... Post the compression numbers on all 4 cylinders for starters.

As for where to go...

Ballade sports in garden grove does good work. They did my valve adjustment and a lot of others on this board. They are currently installing my supercharger too.

I will get the compression numbers tomorrow when I pick up my car from the dealer.
I live in Hollywood but don't mind traveling to someone who can do a good job.

Another recommendation for Ballade Sports!

I was there for a 60K mile service on my S2k this past Tuesday. Alex did a valve adjustment and my car runs alot smoother.
