Default Need a good shop near Port Hueneme

Hey guys, I just moved to SoCal and shipped my car over from Italy. The bad part is that my wheel bearings are bad and I didn't get a chance to fix it before shipping... I was thinking about it and the car arrives at Port Hueneme and I don't think it'd be a good idea to drive it back to San Diego with the bad bearings... Anyone know a good shop in that area?

Thanks in advance!!

Hmm this is a good chance to be a pic whore...

I love the look of your car. Sorry I can't help, I'm not even sure where Port Hueneme is.

Port Hueneme might not have any shops but you should try Oxnard or Ventura since they are next to Hueneme.

Try calling High End Performance... Ph: 805.644.8888
They are in Ventura and Im sure they can recommend someone there. Cool guys. They are moving to Camarillo so get them while they are there.

Good luck.

I just got off the phone with DCH Honda in Oxnard. They quoted me $729 for parts and labor to change bearings and hubs on both sides. That actually sounds pretty good.

I had a bad wheel bearing and had it replaced, as I recall it was around $400 for one side. $729 Doesn't bad.

Oh, and you might wanna get the hub replaced as well. A bad bearing tends to scratch them up.
