Default Need advice on a shop

Honda dealer just informed me I have a bent exhaust valve on cyl #2 thanks to the previous owner. They want $2400 to take off the head, send it to the machine shop, and replace the valve. Obviously I am not going to have them do it because they are way overpriced.

Any recomendations for a shop in the costa mesa/huntington beach/irvine area? I am looking for quality work and a better cost than the one mentioned above.

Specs on the problem:

Compression #1-185 #2-188 #3-190 #4-190
Leakdown #1-6% #2-10% #3-6% #4-6%

Codes - P0300 (random misfire), 0301 (misfire #1 cyl), 0302 (misfire #2 cyl)

Car runs fine and the CEL is intermitent, but sometimes flashes.

Thanks!

Contact SIDEWAYS and see if he has an extra head laying around, and if he does, its a built head. Just pop it in and play

Its an Alaniz head, awesome work. Horrible scam artist of a person but a great head just the same, you'll net a nice HP increase right there too.

Tony Fuchs could fix this in no time. Hit up his Mid Valley Auto shop.
