Need Advice about ticket.
Hey guys, I got a ticket a little while ago, for driving 62mph in a "45mph", I tried to talk myself out of it, but he wouldn't give in at all, besides I deserved the ticket. The next day I drove back around very cautiously through the area scanning everywhere, wait, how come there is no speed limit sign??? I looked everywhere, there was absolutely no sign indicating the speed limit, the first speed limit sign was for 55mph but that was after the area where I was ticketed and pulled over? Being that the california speeding violation 22350 states something like 'driving too fast than the present conditions allow' wouldn't the speed law be up to the driver (within reason of course I would say +5mph). My question is, is there any law stating that there must be a sign to instigate a speeding violation, and what else should I say in court, I have pictures, of the entire area every 30ft from where the street starts. I probably was driving too fast, but the first speed limit sign was 55mph on an uphill road, I figured 60mph would be close to the limit. Guess I was wrong .

I have a friend that got a ticket similar to what happened to you. She took it to court w/ her pictures. They dismissed it... But she has no other tickets on her driving record. Hows your driving record?
