Just got my s2000 a probably a month ago! I've been browsing this forum for a while tho! finally got mine... its a 2002 model with 25000 miles when I got it.

Haha man my car is not downtown LA friendly... went to K-town to chill drink... wow... dips and shit everywhere...

Anyways pleasure meeting you all... hope to get the chance to meet you guys sometime..

congratz on the purchase and welcome! This is a great board to share ideas and knowledge about your new S. We all take good care of eachother.

Therefore I just have to bring this to your attention incase if you were unaware. I test drove that very same car(posted in auto trader and they are near ventura area right?) and found quite a few problems. By no means is my intention to burst your bubbles but just to make sure you got the deal you deserved.

Here are some of the problems I found with that car and I hope the seller made you present to some of the following conditions...

1. 3-4 dings/small dents around the car
2. Scratched right mirror
3. Was in previous accident, right fender and hood was replaced, repaint on both front fenders, bumper, and hood. Supposedly no mechanical damage. You will not find that on the Carfax report b/c it was not claimed.
3. Paint issue on the hood
4. Misalligned front bumper/left headlight. (which can probably be fixed easily)

As for drive, the car felt perfect. I would've picked up this car if I didn't notice all of the above. I hope the seller didn't withold the accident info from you. I had to dig that out of them myself. Also, b/c of the lack of my interest to make an offer, they gave me an offer of $22k (w/o the hardtop), which I declined. I hope you worked out a great deal with them and is perfectly content with the purchase.

thanks for letting me kno! Yeah the guy told me everything before I bought it. I'm having all those mentioned dings, dents, etc fixed soon! I got $21500 out the door with the Hardtop too Once again thanks for all the warm welcomes!
