My insurance told me that is just how the process works in CA.......
Normally, in my cases at the office, #1 hits #2 hits #3, #1 pays for what he can (if his ins) covers all of it, then if not, not enough to cover #3, then #2 kicks in.
Normally those truckers guys carry GOOD insurance if they are big and well known. I didn't see who owned that truck.
The s2ki party has nothing to worry about other than his her health. Pain and suffering can buy them a SuperCharger and more

Ahhh.....I am actually glad that I do not these rules better....
In any field, it's corrupted. I never liked lawyers that much. Sometimes they even try to take down my fees. Screw them. I only like 1 laywer, and that's mine.

I live right by that stretch of the 405. They recently repainted it in a retarded way so that two lanes have to merge into the slow lane, instead of one. Ever since the repainting (a month ago) traffic right there at the 405/90 interchange has come to a near standstill on a routine basis, whereas before it was free-flowing.
More proof for my theory that lane-changing is the single biggest cause of traffic jams. The freeway is still four lanes wide there, but it went from 4+1 to 4+2.
Sorry, slightly OT, had to rant about my commute. It went from 8 minutes to 12.
