Default My friend's car just got totalled on the 405

My friend and his gf were on the 405 going to Monica Pier. They were stopped and a big truck came from behind and rear ended them and a minivan. The truck pushed their car into a lexus's rear end. The guy admit it was his fault, but my friend only has liabilty, and the car is totalled. They are alright, just sore from the impact. Sucks to see this happen to a friend

It's Ok. They'll still pay. As long as he does not hit someone else.

Glad they car Ok. They should get examined by both an MD and DC. Looks like that's going to be an on going process of problems in the spine in the future.

the truck pushed his accord into the lexus rx330 in front and rear ended that lexus. Does that count as him hitting someone?

thanks after telling his gf that. She feels a lot better. She thought he wouldn't get anything for all this. I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet, because he went to bed early. At least he will have some piece of mind. She said they already contacted an attorney and hes going to help them take care of things. Man if that truck crashed into an s2k i think my head would be squished.

Make sure the attorney is good. Fee's are 33%, She (33%) and the Docs (33%)

Don't let the attonery's rip you off. Don't sign unless you understand.

The cause of the accident will pay for everything.
(the BIG truck is liable for all)

Medical cost
Pain and suffering
Attorney's
MD Fees
Chiro Fees
And a Blue book Value for the car.

When I was in someone like this (much less severe though), I collected from the woman behind me and the woman in front of me collected from my insurance, who then went after the woman that hit me.....

Confusing

So if he only had liability....................
