My DIY exhaust!
#21
I have a similar set up. It does sound great! I have not purchased an aftermarket exhaust because of it.
Sounds great at wot.
The good thing is there is little to no drone because of the oem resonator and hemholtz pipe. Plus you save about 40 pounds.
Edit: I have a video clip of it in my sig but I dont know if it transfered over when s2ki made the change. That and I'm always in mobile mode so I can't see anyway.
I'll look for the youtube link.

Wow that looks good Mike! I have stock mid piping and was thinking of doing the same exact thing. How much did something like this cost you if you don't mind me asking! Or just Facebook message me lol
What exhaust are you running? I remember you were selling one a while back...
I was selling the Buddy Club specIII but I traded my friend for his TIC since he wanted something louder and I wanted something quieter ahaha

do you guys have any sound clips from outside of the car, like a drive by? i wonder if it's raspy at all due to deleting a muffler. Usually rasp is harder to hear in cabin than outside.
But...when driving around with my top down yesterday I didn't notice any rasp at all. It has a very smooth, clean, deep tone. I am really very impressed with the outcome.

Oh ok cool. Well, im not sure if mine would be considered a straight pipe since I still have the stock cat and resonator in place.
A true straight pipe would be ridiculous! Haha! Especially on the street. I have heard of guys needing ear plugs on the track. I don't want that haha. I cant wait to drive to work in the morning! I have only driven a little bit so far!

I found this short clip

I kept it as a dual, just no mufflers.
