When I went on my low carb diet I found that I missed these three things the most:
1. Beer
2. Rice
3. Donuts.
In that order.
Giving up rice was hard, but I realized I didnt have to give it up altogether. These days, I pick a day out of a week to eat whatever I want and it doesn't impact my diet.
White sticky glutinous rice. There is no substitute.
