My wife and I will be driving to San Diego Friday for a long weekend. Since this will be our first time there with the S2000, I'm interested in any scenic and/or fun drives within the area. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

aren't all the roads in So Cal jammed with stop-and-go traffic 24x7?

My favorite is the bridge that takes you over to Coronado Island. My wife is scared of heights, so it is pretty funny to see her reaction too. Call me cruel. The sights are great as well as the old Coronado Hotel.

Since this isn't really Off-Topic (it's about driving your S2000), but it is geographical, I'm going to move it to the San Diego Owners Group forum.

Thanks Tom. As many times as I've visited, I've actually never driven the 101 through the towns you mention. This sounds good. As far as the "make-your-wife-scream twisties," she loves this car as much as I do and appreciates the, shall we say, enthusiastic driving opportunities that it offers.

Crtl+F and search for "San Diego". It's about half way down. Check out the 3D aerial map of the Palomar road. Looks fun!

I think I was on that road one time in the passenger of my friends car when I was drunk
