Berkeley It's a good school, and it's very free and liberal, but yeah, the setting is not that good.

Do some research on who has the best B-school. How far along in school are you? If you are not yet a junior you could go to a Junior college to get a great GPA and low tuition until you are an instate resident. The UC schools for residents are one of the GREATEST bargains in education. You get top notch education with a cheap price. Northern and Southern Cali are very different places. Each one is beautiful and unique. I'd suggest flying into either LA or SF renting a convertible and driving through the state (on HWY 1 if possible) and look around. LA is more bling bling and Nor Cal is more Laid back. Both are great and each has huge pluses and some negatives too.

qtee, I'd suggest you take the GMAT before you decide which school to attend. Your GMAT, GPA, and work expereience will determine which school you have a chance of getting admitted to. I'll be taking the GMAT in 3 weeks. The results will determine a lot since my GPA is average although I have some pretty good work expererience to my advantage.

good luck.

Integrage, you telling me to shut up???
