thats how the bike is suppose to be... How you do it is when you are at stop you lean the bike to one side and stand only 1 foot on the ground and the other on the footpeg..........
If you really want to be able to have both feet i guess you can pay to have the seat cut up or the bike lowered.....
Have you been riding for a long time? please be safe.....

you've seen jonny and i on our bikes; we're not sitting flat footed. and if you notice other bikers at stops you'll see the majority doesn't have both feet flat footed either.
it feels a little unnatural at first, but you get used to it. and it becomes second nature. a slight lean and your left foot down is all you need.
i hope you took your msf class yo!
btw...did the 01 gixer come with fuel injection? i don't know when suz. started it.

If you're completely flat footed on both sides, the bike is too small for you!
As long as both feet can hit the ground with half your feet, you're fine. Just do what everyone suggest (lean bike slightly to one side and flat foot that side and put your other foot on the footpeg)
But if you're insistent on it, you can shave the underside of your seat or get it lowered depending how much lower you're trying to get it.

dont want to lower the suspension and not really looking to be flat footed. just want a little lower to be more comfortable. but i guess ill try the leaning and see if i get used to it.
