Damn, I forgot how silent the stock exhaust is :/ I'm probably going to get this ticket signed off in the new few days-- I'll keep you guys posted.

Ok I've the same thing on my ticket. I posted about it in a thread about 2 weeks ago. On my ticket there isn't a CVC code it just says exhaust systems modified to amplify noise, checked as an infraction, and also checked as non-correctable. Now the thing I don't get is I asked the cop what to do about the exhaust and he said just get it written off. Why would he say that yet put non-correctable? I just installed a stock exhaust today and my court date is 6/10 so I am going to get it written off soon. Should I bring this to the judges attention when I go to court?
Don't wanna hijack thread but it's basically the same problem.

They circle non correctable so that uneducated people on the subject don't know better and pay the full fine.
I'm sure the Captains are telling their little piggy's to do this to generate more money for the state.
Too bad you can't catch pigs pulling B.S. stunts like this because pigs look natural with a lot of dirt on em, and California's enforcement has plenty of dirt.
