Wink Mobile Windshield Rock Chip Repair

was wondering if anyone here knows of a good place that is mobile that can repair the 2 rock chips that I have that are a little smaller than a dime in diameter. has anyone gone with safelite, if so how much do they charge per rock chip? i've also already tried the diy kit with no luck, so anyone with good experiences with their repair please chime in.

TIA

I don't remember what brand I bought, but the last time I needed my windshield fixed I went to Kragen and bought a windshield repair kit and did it myself. I got decent results, it was inexpensive, and the fixed areas never spread into cracks across the windshield.

Same here, so far I've got two fixed spots on my windshield. One has been on there for about two years and hasn't grown at all.

The other is a few weeks old

I called the mobile guys and even for the professional one, they used the same thing.
they do have a UV light so you dont need to drive you car under the sun.
I spend around $50or60.
I would save the money and get the DIY kit from kragen or autozone.

Call your insurance agent and ask if this coverage is included in the policy at no deductible cost.

Most insurance will cover these types of claims with no deductible

No deductible cost?

At what I'm paying for my insurance I doubt they will but I suppose I can see if I can get a new windshield

which mobile service did you use? insurance company won't cover it and just need the rock chips repaired so no need to replace the entire windshield.
