I witnessed a guy in my work parking lot a few years ago, basically caving in the side of a car that he thought hit his own car, only to find out later it was the wrong car.
Yeah, I was lucky in my case--I caught the guy in the act who scrape up my bumper. If not, you
just have to chalk it up to a loss. I have door dings (nothing like this bumper) of all the times
mean people hit my car and left no note. It's part of bringing the S out into the big, bad world..
Best of luck!

That sucks!
Since I'm in that structure on the 4th floor everyday I will definitely keep an eye out for it. I must agree about the staying away from corners though. It helps that I come at night/mid day and parking is easier to find, because I always manage to get by a pillar or another spot where only one person can park next to my car.

There was a guy that walking up to the car as she did it and she frantically gets out and the convo went something like this:
Lady: "Shoot, shoot, I'll call you back" (hangs up phone) "Omg, do you think he'll notice this?" (The Evo was BADLY messed up, doors and all).
Guy: "Uh...this is my car."
You could just see the sweat dripping off the lady at this point.
Too bad you didn't get this lucky, but it looks like the damage isn't too bad. Its a good thing that he didn't dig into your paint, he/she just left his/her paint on your car so it should rub right out.
Good luck!

I remember witnessing an accident involving a BRAND NEW Evo 8 at the end like that. A lady in a new Mercedes ended up flying around the corner on her cell phone and SLAMMED into the Evo.
