Default Metric Hardware?

Anyone know where I can find some hard-to-find metric bolts in Orange County? So far the only place I've found seems to be California Bolt Co., but everytime I got by there they're closed. I also don't want to order online because I don't feel like making a $20 min. order to get $2 worth of bolts.

So where can I find some socket head 10mmx1.25x40mm bolts in Orange County?

Or, does anyone have some x-brace bolts they can sell me?

My favorite oddball hardware store is Cannings in La Habra. They carry a GREAT selection at reasonable single-bit prices.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I've got some places to check out. I can always use new metric hardware.

m10 x 1.25 x40mm is sold by autozone all day long, they have 20mm to 40mm in DOT grade flange bolt and nut.

OSH carry more size but they are not DOT grade(aka don't use it on your car or they will snap grade)

mcmaster carry more sh-t than anyone period, no contest

edit: socket head as 1/4 or 3/8 socket?

we have a bunch of metric hex/allen head at work

Thanks for all the info.

I honestly think it should be hex/allen head, but I keep getting conflicting info... even from the manufacturers. That's another reason I'd like to buy local instead of online. At least then I can take the brace with me and see what will work.

I've stayed away from the hardware stores all together because I don't feel like having all 4 bolts snap on me if I happen to drive over a dime-size pebble in the road.
