Mechanic - South Bay LA
I have seen the numerous recommendations for good mechanics around the LA area, but I have not seen any in the South Bay area- Did I miss them or are there really none here?

I used to drive to Ontario from Anaheim to a reputable shop (about 45 miles one way) versus going to a shop next to me that was only 8 miles away (Ballade - avoid).
I now go to a place in La Habra. I have two places that I take my s2k to for service.

And as a secondary back up (used to be my primary place).

I don't know of any other shops in the LA/OC area that I'd take my s2000 to.

From a board member "offline"- with permission:
<<<<<<<"I've been taking my car to LexService, https://www.lexserviceauto.com/
I go to the one in Harbor City, since the owner, Steve Hadad works at that one. He's an honest guy and everyone there loves when I bring the S2K in.
He used to work on my Lexus, but he also works on all other Japanese imports.

Thanks for the thread! I'll be sure to keep this handy. I recently picked up an AP1 from work and it'll be needing some work. Im not really handy but I can do basic handy work like change my own oil aha! However the challenge now is getting smog work so i can transfer the title and get the car insured.
