Drive cancelled due to crazy a$$ weather which may or may not drop hail, heavy rains, or thunderstorms on us on Sunday. Grr.

Anyone who wants to meet up for breakfast in Malibu whether you want to drive or not....

So this is a thread to gauge interest in a planned drive in early March aimed at new S2000 owners, long time owners but who haven't been on a canyon drive, or owners who would like to see what roads there are in Malibu for a spirited Sunday drive. This is NOT a balls-out run, but an easier paced, approachable drive aimed at newbs.

What: a canyon drive for first time canyon drivers or new S2000 owners.
Who: S2000 owners new to the car or canyon drives or Malibu (or all of the above).
When: TBD, but candidate dates are March 1, March 8, or March 15. Definitely a Sunday morning.
Where: Malibu/Santa Monica Moutains -- potential roads include Mulholland Hwy, Las Flores, Stunt, and Latigo.
Why: Because it's fun.

If you are interested can go, please sign up. If I get enough interest, I'll plan it and put it together. This won't be the same as the EOQ/EOM Drives. Some of the roads will be the same, but it will obviously be a smaller group, an easier-going pace, and not as long of a day.

I know March sounds like a long way away, but it's not really. Feb is a short month and it starts literally this weekend. So March is only a few weeks away. So anyone thinking they don't need to think about this now... this is actually the time to look at your calendar and see what Sundays in March work for you. I'm leaning toward the first Sunday.

I'm new to the S2000 scene, I had an STi for a long time but recently switched and man am I loving this car in the canyons. I am very familiar with those roads though, I have a hypermotard that likes to be let loose back there. Count me in.

Highly recommend this to any new driver's on the fence about coming out for a group drive. The last EOQ drive was my first time out on a group drive with my s2000, I was a little hesitant to come out by myself, but ended up having a blast!
