PM with info sent. If you have not received it, let me know right away! I've managed to accidentally skip people in the past and I promise you that it's not on purpose. So if you don't have it in your PM inbox, please let me know! I really don't want to leave anyone out.

Just a friendly reminder that it's still crazy hot, even here at the coast! It's still in the 80s right now (9:30p), and will easily hit 90F tomorrow, and that's before we head over the hills. You'll definitely want some water, and sunscreen/hat if you're running with the top down.

Let's chat today and make plans for a drive. The Bee hasn't been out in months, poor thing. It was awkward driving it to the car was yesterday! It needs some love and attention.

Great driving and meeting/hanging out with everyone today! The S2000 crowd is always such a great group of people, even though I don't own one. Just what I needed.

Ditto. I loved every bit of it. Officially tired of driving as of 15 minutes ago.

So I'm finally recovering from a whirlwind weekend of playing tour guide to good friends and having perhaps the best weekend ever in a way I never really anticipated going the way it went, and to be totally honest I would not change a thing whatsoever! Well, okay, maybe I wish I had left Malibu about 30 minutes earlier, but still... what an amazing time we had on the drive, at the dinner, etc. And if ever I forget how very neat this group of people we have is and how important they are to me, I need do no more than remember this weekend!

I know there are lots of pics out there just waiting to be offloaded from cameras etc. I actually had no time to take any pictures at all during the drive, so I'm hoping others will have made up for it!

We had 23 cars and I'm thrilled to be able to say that every name was in some way accounted for on the sign in. NO ONE totally flaked and no-showed. That is really wonderful for me to be able to say. So when we rolled out, I knew we rolled out with everyone we were supposed to have... even if a couple accidentally left with the wrong "speed" group. LOL!

So anyway, that's in the history books now and I couldn't be happier with the results. I think maybe the 9/11 drive should become an annual event. I'll think about that. Weekday drives are, in some ways, oh so much easier than weekend drives!

And those of you who are local, come out for the I EOQ Ojai Edition in two weeks on Sunday September 27!

Crazy weekend, just got back in Tucson tonight. Huge thanks to Roseanne for setting up this drive, it was well organized and we had a blast. My brother riding shotgun got to see a lot of new scenery and thought it was the best day of the entire weekend. Also, Paul did a great job leading our group and also got to chat with Martin a little bit as group tail.

I'm about 99.9% sure I saw Alan leaving Global Rallycross yesterday.
