Default Lotus Owners

I'm trying to get the opinions of some Lotus owners on here. I know there's a few like Roger, and GideonP. I tried PM'ing GideonP, but his PM box is full. And I forgot Roger's username. Can I talk to some Lotus owners thru pm please. I have a few things to inquire about.

But you have an ap2! After driving teddy's car, my gearbox isn't as smooth, I'm not sure if it's from the previous owners driving or what. I bought the car when it was 3-4 years old, and only had 16,000 miles, so I'm sure he drove it hard the few occasions that he actually drove it. My synchros aren't that bad, but they aren't perfect in comparison to an ap2 either.

the elise gearbox uses cords, it feels really disconnected from the drivetrain and with too much play - I bet your AP1 is still sharper...

BUT I'd get an elise anytime over a stock S

That's what pretty much what I felt about Elise. I really don't like their gearbox. IMHO, s2000 has the best gearbox in the world.
