I was thinking about that, but that is why I am trying to start this meet earlier in the day..
If people want to change it to 9am when it opens in the morning, I would be fine with that also.
I was thinking of having this during the week, but I think most of us work during the day so I made it a weekend thing.
But either way, I'm open to suggestions..

Some advice from an someone that has been to damn near every LA Auto Show in the last 15 years...
Get there before they open and get in line for tickets. Last year the screwed us because they didn't open all the ticket windows and wouldn't allow us to buy tickets until the show actually opened.
Normally, however, you can buy tickets and they hold you at the escalators until the show opens. I normally get at least 1/2 hour with a mostly empty show and the crowds dont' get unbearable until an hour in. By that time, you can see all the really good stuff anyways.
Make sure you guys catch the Porsche hall. Every year is different but the P-car exhibit is traditionally the very best and while you almost never get to sit in the cars sometimes they bring out some really cool hardware (old race cars, etc.).

Before the show opens to the great unwashed you can attend the pre-show . We have gone the past few years and as a plus they provide food . I think it is about $100.00 to enter the show but since it's a charity thing , come tax time you can claim it as a deduction. It's a win win situation ,food cars and room to move around.
