i'm not saying MLM is same as real world, i'm simply stating the fact that real world's business is also shapped just like a pyramid.

u get very small amount of ceo/president on top , then the title goes down , finally the workers.

and their wage is based on their title/position.

moreover, people will always have more power near the top of the pyramid.
There is a difference between internal hierachy and "pyramiding". The latter refers to the act of having employees "stack" on top of eachother to generate more income for the lucky few who have a lot of OTHER employees under them. It doesn't change the fact that they are still all "regular" employees. Of course all MLMs need to have CEOs, board of directors, and all the goodies. They're steps essential and mandated by law before incorporation. However, the theoretically (although limited by world population in reality) endless levels of "networked" employees is NOT present in other businesses.

having the same "shape" as a pyramid is completely and totally not the same as BEING a pyramid.

and MLM/pyramid schemes arent pyramids because theyre structured by levels of "power." theyre structured as a pyramid because thats their foundation of "profit" or should i say perception of profit in the public eye.

exactly,

MLM is illegal.

it's now direct marketing we're talking about , similar but different.

they wouldn't stay in business if it was MLM.

income is generated by product sale/service, recruitments, membership, monthly maintaining rule, re-new fee.. and they are required to fill out a sales report, either the company does it for them already, or you have to fill one out yourself.

MLM/ the pyramid scheme thing u have in mind is quite different.

as for the real world, i was simply stating the shape of the structure that's all. nothing else.
