Looking for a HVAC guy in 818 area
Socal, our central heater broke a few months ago. We don't use all the rooms in the house so we have been using our portable electric heaters for each room we use (2-3 units). Unfortunately it's taking a bigger toll on our bill than expected. We'd like to get our gas operated heater back in action.
Does anyone know of a good, honest, and trustworthy HVAC person?
thanks!
Paul

Im a HVAC installer but this might be far for the company i work for to travel just for a residential unit. If youd like some tips maybe to even repair it yourself you can just send me a pm.

I used these guys when my AC broke this past summer.

They were really nice to deal with but not sure how their prices hold up against the competition.

Stuff like this makes me think whether a home warranty is worth it or not.
If you got a newer home, less worries. Older homes, more worries.

Just depends. I had a leak in the AC compressor and it was paid for less 60.00 per service occurance. My neighbor(s): 1- Water Heater Leak, 1- Furnace Replaced, all wished they bought insurance.

Home built in 1989 so I am definitely considering it.

How much is yours a year and who is it with? Wonder how they make the pricing...

It was 3XX.. for sometime.. then up to low 400.
My A-Coil on the furnace and Pan is starting to leak slowly (when AC is ON), so this will be the next 60.00 for me.
