Thumbs up Looking for Carbotech XP8 rear pads for my AP1

Hello S2KI,

Anyone know where I can buy rear CarboTech XP8 pads for my AP1?
Preferably within the SFV.

Thank you.

Bro you have to order these. Call Carbotech directly. You have to call, cannot order online. I suggest strongly not using any dealers, but going direct through them.

Really? Why?

I actually bought my first few, new sets from S2KI members. However, I was thinking of ordering through 949 Racing if I had no luck in this thread.

Shameless plug, but why not try out the Cobalt XR5's instead? I think they are better than XP8's in every way.

Will I have to change rotors since they are different compounds than the XP8s?

You can just scrub off the rotors with brake cleaner and a scrubbing pad. I've changed compounds several times in the past with no ill effects. Also, Cobalt pads do not need to be bedded in.

When you order through 949 all they are doing is drop shipping them directly from CT. by going through CT directly you will not save money, but you are dealing directly with the source and can avoid problems.
