Default Local Automotive Helmet Shop?

Does anybody know of a local Automotive Helmet store?

I have been to Simpson in Torrance, but I would like to try on and check out other brands and styles beofre buying.

Online seems to have a lot of stores offering a wide variety of helmets but most of them offer a no return policy (just incase I buy the wrong size).

Thanks...

Try http://www.subesports.com in HB.

Not 100% sure if they have a showroom.

jkuamoo,

Check out Extreme Supply (www.extremesupply.com) located in Signal Hill. They are right off of the Cherry exit from the 405.

They have a lots of motorcycle and auto helmets for you to choose from and even try on.

Do you NEED it to be an automotive helmet?

You can use a motorcycle helmet commonly for local racing etc much of the time.

If so, they have a taller and wider field of view thus making them a bit safer IMO. They don't have fireproof testing nor Roll bar testing but... if your harness works you really shouldn't be hitting the roll bar LOL.

I work for a Helmet manufacture, PM for info if you'd like.

Have you tried Temple City Motorsports? They have motorcycle, atv stuff but they also have alot of helmets. They're located on Rosemead next to an animal clinic.

There's also Bert's Auto Mall in West Covina, they have motorcyle, boats, speed boats, jet skis. I
sure they would have helmets.
