Around here, I always notice there's more traffic a little bit earlier on Fridays and less around normal primetime (5-6pm). What do you think? I've worked by John Wayne Airport on South for the last several years.

Also, who leaves early on Fridays?

4:40 ish is the best time to get out of work from Irvine to Fountain Valley.
Traffic is hell every Friday.

If my boss stays till 5, I stay till 5. If my boss leaves at 4:30 I leave at 4:31

I drive home south, not north so it makes it a bit easier. Sometimes the traffic at the El Toro Y gets a little bad but it's really not for the length of miles going North is in OC. Basically from John Wayne Airport to Beach Blvd, if not all the way to Long Beach.

 

I guess some people leave early, but it could be that people just simply leave ON TIME on friday, and stay a little late every other day.

I guess it depends what kind of job you have, but most days are late days for my office.

 

You know, Your right. I have to leave earlier then early now to beat the early friday traffic. To be earlier then the Fri earlees. I guess.

 

I have to go home Thursday to beat the Friday traffic.

You know what, I tend to stay at work longer on Fridays then any other. That is the day our shipments go to Japan so I am always trying to get last minute stuff on the plane beforehand. It sucks
