Default LAX cops, watch out

just got a fix it ticket (no front plate) dropping someone off at the airport. No other violations, thankfully. Noticed before I got the ticket lots of cops on the side, I think this lady cop was specifically targeting no front plate cars

My dad had his Accord parked there last week and he got a ticket as well (for no front plate). He tried to tell me it's my fault cause I "peer pressured" him into taking the plate off.

Hmmmm.... I guess I kinda did. Oops.

Well, they have more important things to do - like the Secret Service busting this High School student for Doodling pictures of Bush. Guess he should have been doing them in a 'free speech zone' instead of the sanctified air of a public school.

Yep, real valuable application of our tax dollars - those high school juniors are a real threat to Politicians.

Student's Anti-Bush Sketches Eyed
PROSSER, Wash., April 28, 2004

(CBS/AP) The Secret Service questioned a 15-year-old boy last week and confiscated drawings he made depicting President Bush as the devil, and with his head on a stick.

The Prosser, Wash. boy's high school art teacher alerted school officials about the drawings. The student was nor arrested but was subjected to disciplinary action by the school, but the nature of that action

yeah that's what I was thinking...don't they have more important things to do than look for ppl to ticket without front plates?
I was talking to her (the officer) and she mentions stuff about how without a front plate, red-light cameras can't identify your car, blah, blah...I guess they must make big bucks off red light camera tickets

Hell yeah! LAX is like shooting fish in a barel for giving tickets. I was picking my father at LAX, and luckily, I was driving his SUV since there's no space for luggage in the S. Any how, after just 15 minutes of circling the LAX route, I saw at least 10-15 folks getting pulled over. Don't know what for, but it made me really paranoid. I'm flying out of Burbank as much as I can now.
