You are going to be so bummed when you read this...
Jay Leno showed up at the Overlook above the Snake in a gorgeous McLaren. And I was told by just about every guy in our group, "You gotta go talk to him! Get a picture! He can't say no to you; you're a girl!" LOL! I was suprisingly nervous talking to the man. I honestly at one point just didn't know what to say. He was very nice and very approachable, I was just feeling incredibly nervous.
He talked about his S600 and it was really great hearing about his restoration project. So many things I wish I had thought to ask him now as I have time to reflect on it!
Anyway, we have more pics coming from other shooters. And we have some exciting in-car footage from one of our drivers who, um, er, found out how skittish the S2000 can be when you drive across even mildly wet roads on a cool morning. Let's just say it got both his attention and the guy's behind him too. Can't wait to see it full screen and not on the cell phone camera he had.

Parts of the road were still wet from recent rains. And it was cold. The tires were having trouble coming up to temps. Even mine were getting squirrely and VSA was kicking in. I backed way out of it about the same point where they spun. I was a few cars ahead.
Dang... I can almost hear the ledge whispering, "I was robbed!" That was just a bit close! So glad no one was coming the other way.

My tires are still like new, all season tires. But it was wet and really cold. We had the heater on full blast and it was still cold haha.
I know, it was so close lol. I saw the edge coming up to my side and thought "sh*t, here we go." We stopped about 3 feet away from 20+ feet of rolling downhill. I don't think I'll make it to anymore gloomy weather runs
