I didn't see this when you first posted it. No problem! It's kind of cool to be in someone's sig line. :-D

It definitely is a fun drive. And yes, the next one is on Sunday October 30th.

I've got my DV cam (it's one that was specifically designed for bicycle helmets, it got good reviews, and I'm hoping it does well with vibrations; found it on sale quite by accident at Frys recently and it was a great deal) and I've got a suction cup mount that should arrive on Wednesday (also got good reviews but isn't very expensive). I can't wait to try it out!

I have a toshiba s20 or s30, I forgot. Don't get it, it sucks haha. Feels like it's going to snap off the threading when it's mounted. And you can't charge while recording ): I tried mounting my dslr on but it was way too heavy and rattled too much lol.

You can give go pro, contour, or some other ones used for sports a try.

I use a gopro and it's perfect. With the top down, you do get some wind noise but it's not all that bad.

Yeah, of course! :-D My problem is I've developed an interest in too many things so the money has to be apportioned differently than when I was smarter and stuck to just one hobby. I'd probably love a Go-Pro and everything you can do with it, but I just paid for my insurance for the year (hey... check out Wawanesa if any of y'all are looking for great rates!), I know I need new tires soon, need a couple of fillings handled (teeth), and the holidays are coming which always costs bookoo bucks. :-( So I got a Vivitar helmet cam DVR 480 (sale at Frys for $29) and a Panavise suction cup mount (amazon for $22 and shipping). There are things I do not cheap-out on, but this is one area that isn't real important to me. I just want a little video to play with now and then, so I figure there isn't much point in going high end. It would be like buying a sportscar for my mom when what she really needs is a Taurus.

I'm going to stick the thing in my S today and drive that instead of the Yaris to my afternoon client visits. :-)

Haha give us a review about the camera when you get the chance. I'm looking for another good but cheap one lol. Lucky I don't live on my own yet or else I wouldn't be able to afford insurance at all for my car ):
