After the Tuna Sushi run, we were down at the bottom just chatting about the Hachiroku brother's other car, his FC. Don't remember how but the conversation went on to how simple it is inside the roatry engine.
Maybe Mazda already had the ideas well before Felix Wankel invented the rotary engine in 1929.

Hi all! I've been out of town since right after the drive so I haven't had a lot of free time to post pics and/or video of the December drive. But now that I'm back home again, time to get caught up.
First off, thanks to everyone for a safe drive. Yeah, LE managed to provide a bit of nuisance factor, but we all still had fun. Thanks also to all the great volunteers who lead our groups and who agree to be tail-end to keep us all together and safe! Without you all, none of this would have been possible.
For those who weren't in attendance, yes, this was the last EOM Drive. For 2014, we are starting the EOQ Drive! Last Sunday of each quarter. Dates in details will be posted in another thread.
I know that Alan will post his EOM Drive pictures for December soon and his are always great pics. I'm sure he has some good Leno shots.
Here is the video walk of the cars which I did at Saddlepeak (I forgot about doing it at the Snake... I was distracted).

And here are my pics:
^^ Technically not at the EOM. Choices, choices. Hmmm. Shall I take the S or the Elise for the EOM? No, the Ferrari isn't mine. He parks crappy too.
^^Jay Leno checking out some guy's Lotus up at the Snake overlook.
^^Random guy's Lotus. Pretty sure it belongs to the guy in the blue hat on the right.
^^This is what Jay Leno was driving. Look at that gorgeous yellow car in the background! Wow. I want one of those! ;-)
^^Our little crew up at Saddlepeak. Crappy lighting. Oops. Alan always has better pics than I do.

At last, someone has had enough of this damn little hybrid! Who always pretends leading a line of performance cars first, and then disappears in the sunset after a few corners
