Winter!
I pow-wowed with Alan and Paul and here's what we are going to do: the three of us will still be arriving at 7:45 (ish) and we're going to stick notes on our cars about the delay of the start time and that we're grabbing coffee/snack probably at Coogies until about 8:45. Everything will get pushed back by one hour. Anyone who still wants to meet at 7:45 (or doesn't get the memo) can still meet up and we'll just all have a quick breakfast snack together.
Reason for the change: sunrise is 7:08am so everything is still damp at 8:15, lighting is sub-optimal, and the non-nocturnal local wildlife (deer, coyotes, etc) is just getting started for the day foraging for food and stuff. Plus it's been heavily overcast in the mornings the last several days so we should take that into account too.
I'm updating the first post in the thread now.

Great day today! Weather was odd, but favorable --overcast and cool near the beach but sunny and downright warm a few minutes inland at the Mulholland overlook. No Leno sightings today, but the overlook was definitely more heavily subscribed than recent visits and there were a LOT of really high end vehicles up there.
Seventeen cars in our line up. A nice number for splitting into three plenty-tight run groups. I have a video walk of the cars I'll post at some point.

These Sunday drives look stellar! Okay one of my goals for 2014 is to bring my car out around a Sunday drive. Maybe make a weekend of it.
I envy these roads. Such is the joys of carving through canyons in CA.

One week bump. Remember, NEXT weekend is the last Sunday of the month. I know it doesn't feel like it, but it is. So, weather and road conditions permitting, November EOM Drive is next weekend. If you've been putting it off or saying, "Oh, I'll go next month," what the eff are you waiting for... an engraved invitation? You're not getting any younger, ya know.
