JUNE-23 JUNE-23 JUNE-23
I'm planning to meet another s2k in front of the Rosemead Supermarket on Valley (8815 Valley blvd - between Walnut Grove & Rosemead blvd/across BofA & Rosemead library @6:30), then to another location on Washington & Crenshaw right off the 10 fwy to meet a coworker with a VW R32 & a few more s2k fellows.
(1st location not confirm yet, pm me so I can let you know by saturday)

Good thing. Because I have no qualms about telling people to cool that sh!t out or take off. And I'm not the only one either.
We have a great time out there and it's a lot of fun so long as everyone keeps it on the right side of the road and nobody does anything stupid.
Rule #1 from the Safety Nazis speech: Don't be stupid!
I shall take this opportunity to make a Public Service Announcement:
If anyone thinks I'm being a bit much when I remind the group to leave plenty of "oh sh!t" room when driving the canyons, just watch a few of the rnickeymouse videos of motorcyclists (and cars) in the Snake on Mulholland. Pay particular attention to the crash compilations. Those crashes happen *every* weekend on all of the canyon roads, not just at the Snake. Note how many of those send a rider or his bike into the oncoming lane. Then just imagine what it would be like with a car coming the other way at full tilt boogie and no room to stop or react.

I'm looking forward to not having a heart attack this weekend.
