Ok so Alan and I have pow-wowed and come to the conclusion we are a go for tomorrow. With Paul stuck working, we will need assistance with lead/tail so we are calling in those volunteers for help in keeping our group safe and happy on the road.
It's *possible* scattered showers *might* happen overnight and, if it does, some roads might be damp, so we should all just be mindful of that as we drive, just like always.

Nice pics, I split from the first group after you guys decided to go back to the over look on Mulholland as the sprinkles starting falling.
Had a great time even though we hit some traffic for some sections. I'll try to make it out more often as long as it isn't an F1 weekend.

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I recently moved to LA from New Jersey but haven't gotten a chance to come out to these drives.
I hope to be able to make the next one! I did some driving on Mulholland today, which was great. I live just a few blocks off of Mulholland, so if anybody ever wants to go for an impromptu drive, PM me!

Thanks to everyone who came out. Weather was not our friend today, but it held long enough for us to see Jay Leno's cool ride at the Overlook. We had about 20 cars and it was a bit more than we normally have (bummer considering the rain). That number of cars naturally means we have to change the pace a little bit to make sure all is safe, but no complaints here.
Very slow-mo, easy cruise after lunch through the rain --which, by the way, is not a recommended practice unless your tires can deal with rain well. It helps if you have VSA. I was very pleased with how my Dunlops dealt with the water.
