Yup. That's why we do not cross the double yellow and why we leave what I call "some oh sh!t room" because you never know what's coming around that next corner. If you drive on the ragged edge of adhesion, you can't react safely to when something like this happens right in front of you.

Btw, in the video from the POV of the idiot driver, isn't that a black S2000 that comes along shortly after? Imagine if it had been that S instead of the motorcycle coming around the corner. We would have seen a very different bit of footage then and I doubt it would have been pretty.
Moral of the story: don't be that guy! And be prepared for the possibility that *that* guy could be coming the other way at any moment.
