^^ Cool. And he'll make sure he leaves the car in gear, turns the wheel, and pulls the parking brake sufficiently when we all park on Mulholland?

That was funny. I suppose it might not have been if no one had noticed and run over there real quick. LOL!

Somebody pointed out to me yesterday that I appear to have forgotten to post up video from my nifty dash cam thing, so here is a link.

What I really need is proper video editing software. The camera does not actually squish the image and have a screwy aspect ratio. That seems to be happening in Windows Live Movie Maker when I pull the original AVI clips into it to stitch them together. The original clips are great quality and proper aspect ratio.

As a witness cam, this thing is awesome, and that's really what I got it for anyway.

Have you tried different save settings when you save the editted videos? You can set your own aspect ratio, bit rate and frame rate too.

Also your video looks fine in my opinion when viewing in HD quality.

I am so looking forward to this coming Sunday. I haven't been to the EOM since last October becuase of conflicting schedule.

I did my own malibu drives on different weekends but it's never the same as driving with you guys. See you guys on the 24th!

You know, I thought I had the settings right, but I'm sure it isn't coming out right. Even in HD playback, the aspect ratio is screwed up. Just look at the shape of the steering wheel and you'll see what I mean. That's not what it looks like in the original .mov clips before I run them through Movie Maker. I'm getting some proper software soon though so I'm not sweating it. I want to be able to do PIP because I have a second camera synched to the first and pointed at my tach. :-)

We shall hope for the midweek storms to blow through quickly and for nice weather to return next weekend.

*** Earlier I said .AVI but I meant .MOV clips from the cam.

Someone should try to do a prerun before Sunday to check for major runoff or obstructions from the rain.
I might be able to on Saturday but not 100% sure if I will be able to yet.
