^^^ LOL. I didn’t think a definition of the phrase “law enforcement harassment” was necessary considering the setting/atmosphere/thread in which I’m asking. There’s a general consensus on what that means in a sports-car enthusiast’s car forum. And when I said "you," I meant anyone who is part of the group. In any case, you answered my question, so thank you for your response, and the detailed info on the camera.

Right now they are predicting rain for sure Saturday and, depending on which weather site you look at, there is a possibility of rain Sunday as well. I will keep an eye on it and post updates as it becomes more certain regarding weather. If it's wet, we don't run, particularly not when it is this cold.

We are in LA now and are disappointed with today's rain in the central city. Please keep us posted about the plans for tomorrow. If it's too wet for the drive, maybe we can meet for lunch somewhere?

If there is any more rain tonight, I'm going to call the drive off. Reason being is the roads probably won't be able to dry overnight. I'll post about 10 pm one way or the other.
This morning's rain was pretty impressive, complete with lightning and thunder.

Okay, this is probably crazy, but we're on for tomorrow. We'll take a cautious start and see how things are. If the roads seem less than ideal or we hit any rain at all during the drive, we'll just call it off and that's that. Maybe turn it into a cruise, or just end up at Patrick's Roadhouse instead or something. Besides, it will give us all a chance for one last hurrah in 2012.
