Yeah just about 2.5 hours or so. Might be a little less that early on a Sunday.
We have had people from SD come to this before.

Ya depending on traffic... its smooth sailing before the LAX cluster fawk and the 405 beyond that is pure hell. I make it down that way in under 2 hours, but I usually travel after midnight to avoid traffic because idiots in traffic turn me hulk really fast.

There is a gal down in San Diego who sometimes comes up in her CR-Z. You might post on that forum (or just PM her there) and see if she can provide better insight. If she is planning to come up, maybe she'll be up for a caravan.

She's a real sweetheart. And her boyfriend and pup are cool too. Current weather shows a high of 88 degrees, sunny, and 0% chance of precip!! Hope that holds.

First Page RMurphy breaks it all down. Make sure to read all instructions and watch videos.

Weather should be gorgeous. But since the sun isn't rising until after 7am now, I think we should push the meet time to 9am for safety reasons. See you all Sunday.

Asked and answered. First post in thread always has the details. Rest of thread is just chitchat and pictures and whatnot related to past and future EOM drives.

Just read the first post. That will give you everything you *need* to know. The videos, pictures, and other discussion are just for enjoyment. Do NOT miss the driver's meeting. I explain the pace of the drive, give tips and pointers regards the roads, explain what is protocol in a group drive, and I hand out route sheets then.

Did I mention do NOT miss the driver's meeting? Yeah...well, in case I forgot, don't miss that.

Off topic, but good info regardless...

Anyone considering organizing a group drive should read the article below. It's an excellent how-to write up that will give you enough detail to get started on organizing a drive. There is still much you end up learning the hard way, but this is as close to an all-inclusive how-to on the subject that I have seen to date.
