Good question. Tough call. It's not like you lose points for having a dirty car. I have this debate with myself frequently. I got mine washed on Sunday and then tucked it away under the car cover so I don't need to worry about the issue this week. Pretty sure the car will be dusty after the drive, but not as bad as if we haven't had any rain for awhile.

Why not wash it before and after?

Our Sunday drives are a non-denominational car-lover's time of worship.

I have never turned anyone away from one of our drives yet (I guess it's bound to happen eventually, but so far not yet). So long as your friends understand we drive spirited but safe (no crossing double-yellows, don't over-drive either your car's or your own capabilities, don't be stupid, stuff like that), it's all good. We have a pep-talk before we head out and everything I go over comes from firsthand experience on these roads. We have a good time.

Here is what a non-S2000 owner had to say about one of our drives:

Somehow Chaz, I just don't think that is going to be an issue. :-D

LOL! Well a bunch of them showed up at a BMW meet here in the valley. They were exiled in seconds.
