definitely skill on Kobe's part. I heard on the radio this morning from an interview with Kobe, he said: (something like this) "I told my teammates, if you set me a good pick, we'll go home with a W." Does Kobe have cofidence or what? Lakers, champs, no doubt

Grizzlies are definitely very very tough, they run a lot and are athletic. However, no one in the first round really has an "easy pass", while I dont think any upsets will take place, they are not out of the question. You also have to look at when those three wins for the grizzlies took place, duncan and parker were injured at the beginning of the season. Should all the top seeds make it out, it will make for a crazy second round (Minnesota vs sac, SA vs LA). Just keep this in mind though, last time denver made the playoffs they were the 8 seed and upset the 1seed seattle which had the best record, could we there be Deja Vu in store?

Both those shots were crazy when i turned on my tv to ESPNNEWS, i was like
IMO, i think Kobe will be one of the best clutch shooters of all time, RIGHT next to Jerry West and Michael Jordan. GO LAKERS

Looks like their poised for another early round exit, considering how sloppy they are right now.
Disillusioned Laker fans may deny it, but that team has no excuse for "barely" pulling out some wins recently, or getting embarrased at home. As the basketball equivalent to the Yankees, the should roll over teams. Instead they struggle with big egos and point at each other.
Great entertainment.
