Default Know any good body shops in the Montrose area?

We were driving home from some Christmas shopping, when my fiance and I got rear-ended at a stop light on Verdugo, near our place in Montrose by a lifted Ford Expedition. We were in her Highlander (sorry BobsS2000, we broke your wife's clean track record ). We're pretty much okay, except for some neck pain for her. She should be just fine--we plan to take her in to the doctor tomorrow to make sure. You can never be too careful. The whole back end of the car was crushed in, since the other guy's truck was high enough to smash out the back window.

At any rate, we are now in the market for a good body shop to do the repairs. Does anybody have any recommendations for the Montrose/La Crescenta/La Canada/Glendale/Burbank area? The closer to Montrose the better, but we want a good place to do it, so we're not opposed to traveling a little distance to get the job done.

Thanks a lot!

Josh

Peak Auto Body in Glendale. They have done work on my M3 and s2000. Came out like new. A little pricey though.

Sorry to hear and hope all is Ok. Go to an MD to check checked up, (Please no VICODIN). Go to a DC to get Cervical Xrays. If you need any advise, let me know.

Thanks, BC. I'm completely fine. I was sitting facing forward, head against the headrest and feel absolutely no pain or discomfort. My fiance's head was turned and she was leaning forward a bit and had a sore neck because of it last night, and still a little so this morning. I'm getting her to set up a doctor's appt to get checked out. My mom had a similar accident 20 years ago--just a bit of whiplash, she thought, but she's had neck and back problems as well as regular migraines ever since. I don't mess around with the spine I may hit you up with some questions once we get the results from the doctor.

Thanks again

When I read the first line of you post I thought to myself "wow, x-mas shopping with the wife in the S? How'd they manage that?"

Sorry to hear about the accident though. Glad to hear you're both okay.

OUCH! The body shop that is working on my car is Suncoast Auto Body in Santa Ana. They do great work. PM me if you need more info.

Glad no one got hurt

Thanks, Greg. After spending several hours in the ER this evening waiting for a doctor to check out her neck, she was diagnosed with just a basic whip-lash and given a prescription for a muscle relaxant to help the spasms. She'll be scheduling a follow-up appt w/ her doctor in a week to make sure there's no other complications, but it sounds like there's nothing to worry about

We ended up going with Gene's Paint & Body in Montrose. They are less than two blocks from our place, and they were very highly recommended by a couple locals.

Thanks for the help, everybody
