Just moved from Kansas to San Clemente

Welcome to Cali. />
Hapa J's is great. Get the Man Fries if you haven't yet. They are amazing.
There's a place called Pipes Cafe accross the street from Hapa J's. I like their breakfast.
There's a small italian sandwhich shop on Del Mar called Tina and Vince's. Great sandwiches. I reccomend the Italian Sub #2.
Sonney's (sp?) on El Camino is some pretty good italian food. I love their Lasagna. Don't fill up on the garlic bread though it is tempting.
Beach Fire is a pretty cool place. I reccomend the seared ahi tacos.
There's a pizza place right accross the street from the pier. I don't remember the name but it's good pizza for pretty cheap and you get a great view and ocean breeze while you eat.
Fisherman's on the pier is Okay. Nothing spectacular. A little overpriced. But you pay for the view I think. I like their bar better on the other side of the pier. And they have some pretty good happy hour specials.
La Tiendita as mentioned before is good. Cafe del Sol is run by the same family and is also good.
There's a little Chinese food place called New Mandarin Garden a little off of El Camino, near Palizada that is pretty good. Low lunch prices.
That's all that comes to mind right now. Sorry to bombard you. Haha! I've worked in San Clemente for 5 years. Don't live anywhere nearby though. =p
