Default Just moved from Kansas to San Clemente

Hey everyone! Just moved down here from Kansas. Unfortunately, my first month was spent replacing the front bumper which the moving company kindly ripped off during my move here /> But thanks to the good people at Frank's in San Clemente I was able to get a new one on and have been enjoying the roads out here. Kind of a shock to see so many cops running radar around here. I finally sold my Valentine One after not being hit with radar/laser very often in and around Kansas City. Loving the drives along PCH. I'm down in the San Clemente area and was wondering if anyone lived near by that would like to meet up. About once a month I head up to the Pasadena area on the weekend.

Really looking forward to making new friends. I've hit up about 8 or 9 states with s2ki clubs and even one in Spain and Dublin. Some of the best people out there. Only my second month in the area, in my late 20's looking to meet some friends out here. If you ever want to go for a drive or do a meet up let me know! IF anyone has some good ideas on how to attach a surf board to the car for cheap let me know! I also have a buddy in Laguna Beach that hosts some pretty crazy pub crawls if anyone is ever interested. Shoot me PM sometime!

Welcome to Cali! How are you adjusting to the weather down here compared to the weather in Kansas?

The paint and prep work was $550. This was mostly due to the prep work with the new bumper. Frank's just opened up a second shop in town and seems to be the go to place. There is a coupon floating around for 20 or 25% front bumper damage repair. These guys no only took great care with my car, but also took step by step photos, used the extra paint to fill in any chips on the car, and then detailed it before dropping it off. I'd ask for Steve.

Weather has been fantastic!!! In Kansas.. during the summer you pretty much had to wait till night to go top down if you don't want to get roasted by the Sun. My s2k is my daily driver and with the right tires you can get around in snow and ice... just can't go up driveways! haha I'm super pumped to have performance all season tires on year round now. The only down side is that there are many parts of Kansas that never see troopers and you could floor it. Though here, I'm just looking for some twisty roads and looking for a way to get a surfboard to the beach.

I'll check out La Tiendita, been going to Hapa J's every tuesday! Let me know if anyone wants to meet up.
